These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our parcel locker services (“Services”). By creating an account, depositing a parcel into our lockers, or receiving a parcel from our lockers, you (“Sender,” “Recipient,” “you,” “your”) agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

“Locker”: A parcel locker operated by us at designated sites.
“Sender”: Any person, courier, or business using our Services to deposit parcels.
“Recipient”: The individual authorized by the Sender to collect a parcel.

2. Scope of Service

We provide temporary parcel storage and access via lockers.
We do not act as a courier, carrier, or insurer of parcels.
We are not responsible for the contents of any parcel.

3. Sender Responsibilities

Provide accurate Recipient details (name, phone, email).
Ensure you have lawful authority/consent to share Recipient data with us for delivery notifications.
Ensure parcels are properly packaged, labeled, and within size/weight limits.
Ensure the locker compartment (“draw”) is free of any materials that could damage the parcel before placing it inside.
Exclude prohibited items (see Section 6).
Indemnify us against any claims from Recipients or third parties arising from your use of our Services.

4. Recipient Notifications

Upon deposit, the Recipient will receive a one-time passcode (OTP) notification to collect the parcel.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate Recipient contact details.
We are not liable if a Recipient cannot be reached due to incorrect or incomplete details.

5. Collection Window & Storage Policy

Recipients must collect parcels within 48 hours of notification.
After 48 hours, we reserve the right to: remove the parcel from the Locker; transfer it to a Storage Facility; apply additional fees for storage and transportation.
Storage and transportation charges must be paid before the parcel can be released.
Parcels unclaimed after 14 days will be handled at AsteroidGY’s discretion in accordance with the laws of Guyana.

6. Prohibited Items

You may not deposit: hazardous, flammable, or toxic substances; illegal or stolen goods; weapons, ammunition, or explosives; perishable, temperature-sensitive, or fragile items (unless specified); live animals or plants; items exceeding locker dimensions or weight limits. We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or dispose of prohibited items without notice.

7. Fees & Payments

Service fee of 499 GYD for small locker and 599 GYD for large locker per parcel. Fee covers up to 48 hours of storage.
Registered companies/businesses billed on the 1st of each month for previous month usage. Individual users billed one week after use.
Additional charges may apply if parcel not collected within 48 hours. All fees non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Liability & Risk

Risk of loss remains with the Sender until the locker door is opened after placement. We are not liable for damage from poor packaging, materials in the compartment, delays from non-collection, or unauthorized access.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Services for breach of Terms, non-payment, or deposit of prohibited/unlawful items.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Guyana. Disputes shall first be resolved amicably; failing that, in the courts of Guyana.
